Please join us on Tuesday, September 10th as we welcome Wendy Ellis, DrPH, MPH for the last presentation in our 2019 Speaker Series.

Through the power of data and policy analysis– Dr. Ellis’s presentation will demonstrate that many of our area’s poor live in communities of concentrated poverty not by choice, but rather by design– the cumulative result of social and criminal policies enacted over the course of our nation’s history. How these policies have shaped the area’s neighborhoods –from Price Hill to Avondale, Hyde Park to Lincoln Heights– helps us understand the need to address childhood adversity through policy and system redesign.
